I spent 12 years driving past St. Thomas, on my way to Cornell to work on the supercomputer up there. Occasionally my wife, Dorothy and I dropped by for some Christmas events, and we knew Cullie and Polly really well because Dorothy sang with them in the Ithaca Chorus. So we used to come infrequently, but occasionally, and just decided it was time to maybe stop by a little more regularly.
I joke with people that St. Thomas feels not like an Anglo-Catholic place, but an Anglo-Quaker place. There’s a certain sharing and and comfort level that is here that I just feel like it’s a good place to be.
